Tickets go on sale Friday, March 14 for “Richie Ashburn: A Baseball Life,” making its world premiere at the Philadelphia Film Festival at the Prince Music Theater Monday, April 14 at 7 p.m.
The special screening event will feature a red carpet entrance with baseball celebrities and former players. Ashburn’s former broadcast partner, Harry Kalas who narrates the film, will introduce the film, which was written and produced by Dan Stephenson of the Phillies, who will take questions from the audience following the screening.
Tickets are $25.00 and can be purchased by calling the Phillies at 215-463-1000.
A portion of the proceeds will go to the Richie Ashburn Foundation.
