So after Larry Mendte’s press conference on Friday, will his next stop be the Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards at the Philadelphia Marriott on September 13th?
The former CBS3 news anchor is nominated for 19 awards, but obviously he won’t be invited to sit at the CBS3 table.
Could he end up at the Fox29 table with wife Dawn Stensland, who is also nominated for 2 Emmys and who industry sources say is planning to attend the ceremonies?
I wouldn’t put it past him.

Here are my televisions winners and losers of the summer:
The Big L – Locally, it was Lane and Larry. Alycia Lane and Larry Mendte will go down in infamy as one of the craziest sagas in local television history.
Summer Olympics:
Winners - Morgan Freeman’s voice, Volleyball, “The Redeem Team,”and Michael Phelps.
Losers – The fall NBC lineup promos. Looks like NBC will be in fourth place again if the best it can come up with is “ER’s” final season.
NBC’s summer schedule- Celebrity Circus, Celebrity Family Feud, Baby Borrowers, Last Comic Standing.
More Trouble for NBC – Jay Leno on the way out.
Favorite New Show – Swingtown. Long live the 70′s!
Favorite Summer Show – The fourth season of “Kathy Griffin’s My Life on the D List.”
Favorite Critically Acclaimed Show – “Mad Men” on AMC.
Favorite Stupid Summer Reality Shows – “Denise Richards: It’s Complicated” and “Living Lohan” on E!
