In case you missed it, one of our readers posted a comment that said Charles Barkley mentioned Gary Papa on TNT the other night.
The 6ABC sports director is undergoing treatment for prostate cancer.
In a related note, it looks like 6ABC will probably need a new player for Eagles Frenzy with Gary Papa next season, as this year’s contributor, Omar Gaither lost his starting linebacker job, and may not be on the team next year.
As a matter of fact, there could be many player broadcasting vacancies depending on what the Eagles do with Donovan McNabb, Brian Dawkins, and Jon Runyan.
Hopefully Gary can beat this. He just comes off as a genuine nice guy.
Eagles Frenzy is somewhat silly though. Especially when Keith Russell comes on to over-do the highlights of other games.
