Sunday Scramble

Even without the Cowboys-Eagles game on NBC, there is a ton to choose from tonight, including an interview with Ruth Madoff on 60 Minutes on CBS at 7 or after football ends, Family Guy on Fox at 9, Desperate Housewives on ABC at 9, The Good Wife on CBS at 9, Homeland on Showtime at 10 and Dirty Soap on E! at 10:30.

November Sweeps Starts October 27

November sweeps begins Thursday. So far, CBS is the top rated network. Early new hits include Unforgettable, Revenge, and the X-Factor.

Shows already canceled include Charlie’s Angels and How To Be A Gentleman.

Fox29 Happenings

Here’s the latest information heard about Fox29.  Good Day Philadelphia’s Mike Jerrick just signed a three-year contract, Lauren Cohn was moved from anchor to reporter, and the new 5, 6 and 10 team is Thomas Drayton and Kerri Barrett.

Inquirer Keeps Cutting

In today’s Sunday paper, television critic Jonathan Storm announced his retirement from the Inquirer, following a recent similar announcement by movie critic Carrie Rickey.
