As Desperate Housewives continues to limp to its series finale, how about they save us the trouble and end it now instead of May?

ABC isn’t exactly overflowing with other shows at the moment. DH still gets respectable numbers for a “dead man walking” series, so taking one last stab at using it to build sampling for the new GCB makes sense.
If ABC were flush with successful dramas, then maybe. But as it is, they still get respectable numbers for a “dead man walking” show, so taking one last shot at building sampling for the new GCB is a better risk overall.
