  1. Whew.

Apparently the only category exclusion is owning a tv.

    And Hugh Douglas.

Perhaps the categorizer died of carpal tunnel before he got to him.

  2. seems odd not having Larry Mentde-Stenslands dozen or so self-nominations.

  3. Hugh Douglas does not know the difference betwen the Emmys, Tonys
and Grammys. He continues to prove he is completely unitelligent.

How did they forget me? Gee wiz.

  5. Weather Channel Wally

The people who make the Emmies happen are a dedicated group, but it is a shame WPVI generally does not compete. That takes nothing away from the hard work of those who were nominated. But “best weather” without Cecily or Dave Murphy in the mix? “Best anchor” without Jimbo? Etc.

Also: Unfortunately some of the station categories should actually be “station with the most talented promotion tape editor”.

  6. Laura, you’re better than this, Media awards have absolutely zero news value to folks. It’s strictly an inside the industry story.

  7. WJ, POOR HUGH’S IS GONE FROM TV!!!!!!!! AFTER THE PRE-SEASON

    BEST DRAMATIC NEWSREADER; KERRI-LEE.
BEST COMEDY NEWSREADER; MONICA, AS WINKIN, BLINKIN & NOD
BEST FACE FOR RADIO; CLAUDIA GOMEZ.
    HOTTEST NEWCOMER; SHIRLEEN
    NICEST PERSON; SUE SERIO

  8. HUGH WILL BE ACCEPTING DONATIONS.
