New Reporter on CBS3

Philadelphia, June 14, 2012 – Jenn Bernstein has been named general assignment reporter for CBS 3 and The CW Philly, Vice President and News Director Susan Schiller has announced.


Before coming to Philadelphia, Bernstein was most recently reporting for FOX CT in Hartford, Connecticut since May, 2010.  Previously, she was a reporter and fill-in anchor for YNN in Buffalo, New York.  


She began her broadcasting career at then Capital News 9 in Albany, NY as an associate producer, assignment editor and traffic reporter in 2007.  She later went on to work as a video producer there for Capital Tonight, a statewide political program providing the most comprehensive coverage of the news from the State Capitol, the campaign trail and across the Empire State.


Bernstein is a graduate of Union College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science.  A native of Connecticut, she enjoys the outdoors and fine dining.


CBS 3 (KYW-TV) and The CW Philly 57 (WPSG-TV) are part of CBS Television Stations, a division of CBS Corporation.

  2. @CONNECTED–What are the talents needed for a reporter? A good on camera appearance and clear speaking voice. I am sure Jenn qualified. Reporter generally worked with a producer, cameraperson, editor — making it a team effort. Stop dissing people who know nothing about — it is mean spirited
