Daytime Emmy Winners

The best in game shows, talk shows, daytime dramas and more were honored at the Daytime Emmys Sunday night.

The Price is Right won for best game show, Wayne Brady was named best game show host, Days of Our Lives was named best daytime drama, Good Morning America won for best morning program, The Talk won for best talk show – entertainment, Dr. Oz won for best talk show – informative, Entertainment Tonight won for best entertainment news program, and Judge Mathis won for best legal show.

Mario Lopez and the hilarious Sheryl Underwood hosted.

My Superheroes Were on C-Span

Forget the Avengers, my superheroes of the weekend were at the White House Correspondents dinner on CSPAN Saturday night. I love to watch the annual event that honors the press.

 

TGI-Heaven

90’s icons Jodie Sweetin, Christine Lakin, and Beverly Mitchell star in the surprisingly good Hollywood Darlings on Pop, Wednesdays at 8 p.m.

Sweetin of Full House and Lakin of Step by Step were part of ABC’s TGIF Lineup. Mitchell starred in 7th Heaven on the WB.

The show follows the self-aware former network stars trying to re-invent themselves.

Fleetwood Mac Tickets Up for Grabs

WMGK will be giving away tickets to the just-announced Fleetwood Mac tour this weekend. They will be coming to Philadelphia in April of 2019 and Atlantic City in March of 2019.

Maybe by then they will make up with Lindsey Buckingham, and he’ll be back on the tour.

 

The Brady Bunch and Monkees Team Up

Barry Williams of the Brady Bunch and Mickey Dolenz of The Monkees will appear at the Northeast ComicCon, in Boxboro, MA this July.

The 50th anniversary of The Brady Bunch happens next year. It airs on MeTV and the Hallmark Channel.

 

Bradley Cooper’s Star is Born Trailer Getting Raves

Philly’s Bradley Cooper is getting great reviews for the trailer to his remake of A Star is Born with Lady Gaga. The trailer was release for critics at CinemaCon this week.

Cooper’s directorial debut arrives in October.

GH Stars Coming to Philly

General Hospital stars Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson will host a fan event in Philadelphia, May 25th.
