American Idol scorecard – American Idol will return for its second season on its new network, ABC, former Idol champion Kelly Clarkson will continue as a judge on The Voice on NBC, and former Idol contestant Katherine McPhee’s series, Scorpion, was cancelled by CBS.
Network shuffle – After a year on the shelf, former ABC show Last Man Standing with Tim Allen will air on Fox and Brooklyn Nine-Nine will move from Fox to NBC.
The looooong arm of the Law – Law and Order – SVU returns for its 20th season on NBC.
Priyanka Chopra – Good News – She will be attending the wedding of Prince Harry and her friend Meghan Markle on Saturday. Bad News – Quantico was cancelled by ABC.
Shondaland lives – Grey’s Anatomy, How To Get Away with Murder , For the People, and Station 19 were renewed.
Dick Wolf continues to dominate – All three of his Chicago shows (Fire, PD, and Med) were renewed by NBC and Law and Order: SVU was also renewed.
SNL scorecard – Will Forte’s Last Man on Earth on Fox and Bobby Moynihan’s Me, Myself, and I on CBS got the ax. Andy Sanberg’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine was saved by NBC.
Don’t Put Kevin in your show title – Kevin Can Wait on CBS and Kevin (Probably Saves the World on ABC were cancelled.
