  1. Jamie Maggio sure lasted long…

  2. Double M is a lot better than people realize. She is savvy, knows the game, and is a proven journalist. Give her plenty of credit for working the NYC beat and now coming back here for this role. Nice young woman

  3. Wow, great news. They finally got Dei’s face off TV!!

    • Connected – MM is replacing someone that did the whole season last year… though I don’t know why you’d watch the Sixers anyway…

  4. OK I just GOOGLED “Maria Marakovits”………..not a bad lookin blonde, heres a few qutes from MARCH 2010 “I’m very grateful to SECTV for giving me the opportunity to grow as a sports reporter,” Marakovits said. “I thoroughly enjoyed covering our local Pennsylvania teams making it a difficult decision to leave. Ultimately, a chance to cover arguably the most passionately followed sports franchise in the world in the country’s largest media market seemed too good an opportunity to pass up.”……………..I guess NY wasnt all that? Or shes doing this since the NYY seasons over………..Nice to see a young fresh blonde, Leslie Guidels starting to look more like an maturing mom……….

  5. I don’t know if you guys know this but men get older too.
I’m tired of seeing the same old mens faces, day in and day out, day in and day out, day in and day out get the picture.

  6. Good Point. However, most of the women do trade on their looks from the start. Not to many “average” looking women in the TV markets.

  7. especially now after the transition to HDTV when its one wrinkle on the face and you’re thru, even if you have an accident despite the fact that you are a longtime and much loved personality (note this is just an example!!)

  8. From the release: “The region’s premier sports website, CSNPhilly.com is the online source for all Sixers news.”

Says Who? Just because Comcast pontificates that they have, “the region’s premier sports website,” DOES NOT make that a fact but simply a subjective opinion. Enough already with the attempted brain washing of the masses, that’s way too creepy, CSN. Time to get over yourselves. The site is okay, but it’s CERTAINLY not THAT good.

  9. I never even knew who Jamie was? Tells you how much exposure this gig is worth!
