Sports Emmy Nominations

Of course, “Inside the NFL,” which was canceled by HBO leads with 5 Sports Emmy nominations.

Partially because of the cancellation of the show, NFL Films, which produced the show laid off 21 employees last week.

“Inside the NFL” is nominated for “Outstanding Studio Show: Weekly.”

Here are some of the major nominations with my choices in bold.

  1. Disagree with Sportscenter as the pic for Daily Studio show. Sportscenter (seems to me anyway) has lost their mojo and has become disjointed. PTI is much more informing and entertaining.

  2. Have to disagree with Phil Simms, would much rather see Madden or Aikman win.
